Kadi Privacy Policy

In short: you can play Kadi offline without an account, and we never see that play. If you create an account, we keep what's needed to run online games: your name, email, username, progress and game results. Anonymous usage statistics and crash reports help us improve the app, and you can turn them off. We don't sell your data. Kadi Coins aren't money, and Kadi has no real-money gambling.

1. Who we are

Kadi is published by OLIN INNOVATIONS LIMITED, Nakuru, Kenya ("we", "us"). For anything about your privacy, email info@olininnovations.co.ke.

2. What stays on your phone

Playing against the computer works fully offline. Your guest profile (display name, avatar, level, XP, statistics, achievements, daily challenges, Kadi Coins, owned cosmetics), your saved game and your settings are stored only on your phone and are not sent to us, unless you sign in to an account (section 3).

3. What we collect, and why

Account (optional — only if you sign up)

• Name, email address and password — to create and secure your account. Passwords are stored only as a secure hash.
• Username (@handle) — your public identity for friends, invites and rankings.
• Phone model name (for example "TECNO CM5") — used to label each sign-in (you can sign out of all devices from the app).
• When you were last active — to show you as online to friends (you can hide this in the app).

Online play and progress (signed-in players)

• Cloud save — your game progress (level, XP, statistics, achievements, cosmetics), so it's safe if you change phones.
• Games and results — rooms, Quick Match, moves (processed by our game server to run the game), winners, ratings, rankings, season and Cup progress.
• Kadi Coins ledger — every coin earned or spent, so your balance is correct on every device.
• Friends and invites — who you've added, and game invitations.
• Chat messages and reactions — delivered live to the players at your table. We don't store them.

Anonymous usage statistics

To learn which modes and levels people play, the app can send anonymous events such as "a game was started with 3 players at Hard difficulty" or "the store was opened". They carry no name, email, account, device or advertising identifier, cards or messages — only a random number that changes every time the app starts. You can turn this off in Settings → Preferences → Share anonymous usage & crash reports.

Crash reports

If the app hits an error, it can send a crash report: what went wrong (the error and where in the code), which screen was open, the app version, your Android version and phone model. Reports are scrubbed of emails, tokens and similar text, carry no account or device identifier, and are covered by the same switch in Settings.

Ads

Some versions of Kadi show ads from Google AdMob, including optional ads you can choose to watch for Kadi Coins. When ads are shown, Google may collect your device's advertising ID and information about your device and app use to show and measure ads, as described in Google's policy. Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA and UK), you're asked for consent first, and you can change your choice any time in Settings → Ad privacy choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's Google settings. Kadi never shows ads during a game.

Server logs

Like any online service, our servers record technical logs (such as IP addresses and request times) to keep the service secure and working. Game-server logs, which can include display names, are kept for 7 days.

4. Who can see your information

• Other players can see your display name, avatar, @username, rating and ranking, and — unless you hide it — whether you're online.
• Service providers who host and run our servers, only to provide the service to us.
• Google AdMob, when ads are shown (see "Ads").
• Authorities, only if the law requires it.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for others' marketing.

5. How long we keep it

6. Your choices and rights

• Delete your account in the app, or see how to delete your Kadi account. This permanently deletes your account and the information linked to it.
• Turn off anonymous usage statistics and crash reports in Settings.
• Hide your online status, and mute other players' messages and reactions.
• Under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019 (and similar laws where you live), you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or object to its use. Email info@olininnovations.co.ke. You can also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (Kenya).

7. Security

All connections use encryption (HTTPS and secure websockets). Passwords are hashed, and the app keeps your sign-in token in your phone's secure storage.

8. Children

Kadi is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.

9. Kadi Coins

Kadi Coins are earned by playing and by optional rewarded ads, and spent on cosmetics and Cup entries. They can't be bought, withdrawn, transferred or exchanged for money or prizes. Kadi involves no real-money gambling.

10. Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top; for significant changes we'll also let you know in the app or by email.
